What is white-label coaching software?
Last updated 8 July 2026
White-label coaching software is a platform that runs a coach's business behind the coach's own brand. Clients download an app that carries the coach's name, logo and colors, and often the coach's own web domain, with no visible sign of the company that built it. The coach gets programming, check-ins, messaging, payments and analytics; the software vendor stays invisible.
How it works
One codebase serves many coaches. Each coach configures their branding and the modules they need, and the platform renders a client app that looks built for that coach alone. The coach manages clients from a dashboard while clients use the branded app day to day. On stronger plans the branding extends to a custom domain, so clients never leave the coach's world.
Who it is for
Independent fitness, nutrition, mindset, business and life coaches who want to look like an established brand rather than a login on someone else's app. It suits coaches who care about client experience, want their own presence in the app stores or on the web, and do not want a third party's logo sitting between them and their clients.
White-label vs reseller vs branded
Branded usually means only a logo swap on the vendor's app, with the vendor's name still visible. White-label means the coach's identity replaces the vendor's completely, ideally down to the domain. Reseller means selling the vendor's product under a separate agreement, which is a commercial arrangement rather than a client-experience one. When people say white-label they usually want the second: nothing of the vendor visible to the client.
What to look for in 2026
- True white-label, not just a logo: custom domain and no vendor branding anywhere the client can see.
- No cut of your payments: some platforms take a percentage of client payments. The better model is a flat subscription with 0% of revenue taken, so the coach keeps 100% and uses their own payment processor.
- AI that does the admin: a program builder that drafts training and nutrition, and check-in reading that summarizes client progress, with the coach approving the output.
- Data residency and GDPR: for coaches with EU clients, hosting in the European Union with consent-gated health data.
- Fast setup: going from signup to a live branded app in minutes, not a multi-week onboarding.
KyniQ is one example built around these points: it gives each coach a white-label client app with a custom domain on Elite and above, takes 0% of coaching revenue, hosts client data in the EU, and has a coach live in 8 minutes. Other platforms in this space include Trainerize, TrueCoach, Everfit and PT Distinction; a full comparison is on the Trainerize alternative page.
Common questions
Is white-label the same as having my own app in the app store?
It can be. Strong white-label platforms let the client app install as a progressive web app from a link and, later, ship under the coach's own listing in the app stores.
Does white-label coaching software take a percentage of my income?
Some do and some do not. Subscription-only platforms take 0% of your client payments; always check whether payments run through your own processor.
How long does it take to set up?
The fastest platforms have a coach branded and inviting a first client in under 10 minutes. KyniQ measures this at 8 minutes.
